The following guidelines must be strictly followed for abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the scientific program of the congress. Authors are requested to carefully follow these instructions to facilitate proper review and consideration of their work.
Format Requirements
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Font: Arial, size 12
- Line spacing: Single
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Title:
- 15 words max (sentence type).
Authors and Affiliations:
- Unlimited number of authors
- Author format: Surname, Initial(s)
- Use superscript numbers to indicate affiliations
- Affiliation format: Department, Faculty, Institution, City, Country
- Include the email address of the corresponding author
Abstract Structure:
The abstract must be structured under the following headings:
- Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Word Limit: Maximum 300 words, excluding title and author information
- Keywords: Three (3) keywords, Each keyword should contain 1–3 words
Funding: Acknowledge all sources of funding supporting the study
Preferred Type of Presentation:
- Indicate one option: Oral or Poster
Abstract Evaluation Criteria
– All studies must have obtained appropriate ethical approval, where applicable.
– Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
- Originality
- Scientific relevance
- Impact in the field
- Methodological quality
A limited number of accepted abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.
Originality Policy
- Abstracts must not contain data previously presented at another scientific meeting.
- Abstracts must not include data already accepted for publication in any online or PubMed-indexed journal at the time of submission.
Publication
- Selected abstracts will be published in Placenta.
